First hour

Between jobs, Dan searches "seo services" and taps HowdySEO's ad.

He lands on howdyseo.com. The free plan starts with Google sign-in, and a call with a person is offered but never required.

He signs in with Google. This gives HowdySEO only his name and email. Access to his accounts comes later, one step at a time.

He names the business, picks its kind and language, and adds its locations (up to 9). A franchise unit is shown what its franchisor's rules stop the house from doing before it goes on. A practice names who approves its content. A store is one location.

At the office computer he works through the access steps. Each step names the account, the role asked for, and where to click. If someone else owns an account, he sends that step to them. If his old firm holds it, the takeover starts. A store grants its store platform and Merchant Center instead of Business Profile. A franchise unit grants the manager role its franchisor allows.

Each step opens the real screen at Google with the email and role already prepared. When he comes back, the step is ticked off.

The house reads his profile, site and calls. He can put the phone away; a text tells him when the findings are ready.

Within the hour he sees his findings in plain words, ordered by how many calls each likely costs, above his baseline call count. This is the aha. A store sees its orders and revenue instead of calls.
